Hello! My name is Anita Hunter, and I am the owner of A Functional Home. I worked for the State of Missouri as an Adult Protective Services Worker for 13 years. During that time, I noticed a direct correlation between environment and mental health. I have always enjoyed organizing and decluttering, so I felt it was time to pursue my passion in helping others improve their lives by transforming their homes from chaos to calm. This is why I chose the name “A Functional Home” for my business!
My husband and I are empty nesters with grown children and enjoying the grandparent life! We also share our home with our very spoiled dogs. Our lives are busy and we are challenged to practice simplicity in our home, but have managed to make our home a haven where we can relax and unwind.
